APPLY FOR MARKETPLACE COVERAGE TO RECEIVE DUAL ELIGIBILITY DETERMINATION

When you apply for marketplace coverage, you will receive a dual eligibility determination for both federal and state health insurance, plus Native Americans have special provisions and may qualify for tax credits & cost-sharing savings programs.

MARKETPLACE TAX CREDITS AND COST SAVINGS PROGRAM

Do you qualify for Marketplace Tax Credits and Cost Savings Programs?
To learn if you qualify for lower costs on health insurance coverage, find your estimated 2014 household income and household size in the chart below. There are two types of cost savings programs on the Marketplace for Americans--Advanced Premium Tax Credits and Cost-Sharing. In addition, Native Americans with household income up to 300% federal poverty level will also qualify for the Native American Cost-Sharing Program if they purchase a Bronze or Silver plan on the Marketplace.

The column on the left tells you if you may qualify for the Advanced Premium Tax Credit. To be eligible, your total household income must fall between 100-400% of the federal poverty level. If so, your tax credit can be allocated toward your premium cost to lower your monthly out-of-pocket premium payment. Also note that Oklahoma is not a Medicaid expansion state; see the SoonerCare Oklahoma Income Chart under My Health, My Choice Option 2, below.

Native American Special Provision Cost-Sharing Income Table
Native Americans whose household income meets the federal income guidelines of 300% or below also qualify for a special Cost-Sharing Savings Program for themselves and their tribe! The federal government will pick up all cost-sharing for silver or bronze plan minimum essential benefits EHBs. See if you qualify below:
