MyDNA
We will fight to rebuild a Drug-Free Native America.
In Oklahoma, our Native youth are at even higher risk for drugs as well as alcohol abuse. That’s why the Absentee Shawnee Tribe and SPTHB have partnered with SAMHSA to build a program just for them and the issues they face. MyDNA – My Drug-Free Native America – was created to do more than “preach” at our young people. We want to reach them. Empower them through pride in their culture. Give them their reason to beat the statistics.
Through MyDNA.Rocks, they can find free resources, Native American culture classes, drug and alcohol information, fun drug-free events, and interaction with other young people who are choosing to redefine what it means to be a young Native American.
