Youth Virtual Suicide Prevention Talent Show

Youth Virtual Suicide Prevention Talent Show

Open to Native Youth ages 12-24 years old.

Participants wanting to enter may request the talent show paperwork from Margo @ 405.701.7995 or mwahpekeche@astribe.com.

All videos and release forms are due by July 16th @5pm.

Each participant will receive a prize and all videos will be posted to social media. 

COVID-19 Testing for AST members

Great news! AST Health will begin offering Drive-Thru COVID-19 testing today and tomorrow for Absentee Shawnee Tribal(AST) members from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Testing will take place at both Little Axe Health Center & Shawnee Clinic locations. This event will continue next week for AST members and all other health system patients and AST employees within the following weeks. 1st Wednesday Monthly Health Closure 8/7

Special Reminder: August 7th

The 1st Wednesday of each month closes for clinical training time for regulatory driven Medical Training/Medical Committees Meeting and other clinical training to be completed. The Absentee Shawnee Tribal Health System will be CLOSING at NOON today. 

Shawnee Walk-In Clinic and PlusCare will reopen at 5 PM to 8 PM, accepting that last patient at 7:30 PM.

OK Native Impact

One of the largest and most impactful contributions by 38 federally recognized tribes has been in health care. Oklahoma tribes make millions in payments to Oklahoma health care entities every year when a tribal citizen is referred to private health care providers. AST Realty Department has partnered with the Department of Interior to provide inherited undivided interest information to tribal members. This event will take place at the AST Health Multipurpose Bldg on Saturday, August 3rd from 10 AM to 3 PM. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided by the AST Office of the Treasurer. Back to School Event

It's that time of year again. At Little Axe Health Center, we're helping out with free dental and vision screenings, and free sports physicals for all kids under the age of 18. The event is open to ALL RESIDENTS of the Little Axe community and surrounding areas. Enjoy refreshments and goody bags for attendees (supplies are limited).
