Great news for our Absentee Shawnee Tribe and Absentee Shawnee Health on becoming a permanent safe disposal site for expired and unused prescription drugs! There are now 2 safe disposal drop boxes located in both lobbies of the Little Axe Health Center and Shawnee Clinic. Please take your expired and unused prescription drugs to these sites to have them properly disposed of.

During the month of December on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays the Little Axe Dental Clinic will be providing a screening and fluoride application preventative service for all children ages 0-3.
On those particular days no appointment is necessary for the service, but you can reserve a time by calling the Dental Department.
If your child has a well child visit scheduled at LAHC on any of the above days in December, please stop by and see us prior to their appointment for their preventative services. This service takes just a few minutes to complete.
If you are an Absentee Shawnee Tribal Elder, 65 or older and live in Cleveland, Lincoln, Logan, Oklahoma, or Pottawatomie Counties, we are here to help you. Purchased Referred care department (formerly Contract Health) will explain all the options available in this program, help you understand what you may be eligible to receive, walk you through the process, and help you complete your applications.
Join us for one of the following dates:
Tuesday, Nov. 5th and Monday, Nov. 18th at Little Axe Health Center Conference Room A from 9 AM to 1 PM.
Due to anticipated and forecasted weather conditions for tomorrow (high winds, blowing rains, 1-3 inches falling between 6-9PM tomorrow, and cold air temperatures), the Zombie Team has determined it is in the best interest of everyone due to safety and health reasons to reschedule the event from tomorrow to next Monday, same time and place (6-9PM, Clear Bay Lake Thunderbird).
