N7 YOUTH MOVEMENT FIELD DAY PRESENTED BY SAAC & NASA Students Grades 3rd-8th Thursday, March 31st, 2016 9am-1pm Oklahoma State Facilities Youth Movement Field Day Oklahoma State's Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), the Native American Students Association (NASA), and Oklahoma State Athletics' Orange & Black Gives Back program have partnered with Nike's N7 Youth Movement to host the 2nd annual Oklahoma State Youth Movement 2016 to celebrate the community that is such a large part of the state's history and heritage. SAAC & NASA will host their second educational and active field day for Native American students around the state of Oklahoma in grades 3rd-8th. The morning will be filled with field day stations that encourage movement, play, and fun as well as special guest speakers. It will be a great way for young Native American students to be inspired to be healthy active members of their tribe now and in the future. Students will receive a free goody bag for attending! Event activities include: team sports, traditional Native games, guest speakers, performers and much more

At the start of the year, Dasia caught a viral infection that destroyed her heart. She was transferred to St. Louis Children’s Hospital where she received a new heart on February 1st. Dasia’s family is traveling back and forth from Oklahoma to Missouri. They are in need of financial help as they continue the long journey for Dasia’s recovery.
