Join the Cleveland County Health Improvement Plan Substance Abuse Community Coalition for the DEA National Prescription Drug & Medical Waste Take-Back Event! This is a FREE and secure way to protect our community and environment from potential harm caused by improper disposal.

When: Friday, October 18th, 2025, from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M.

Where: Drive-Thru Locations:

> Cleveland County Health Department - Norman (250 12th Ave NE)

> Cleveland County Health Department - Moore (424 S Eastern Ave)

> Absentee Shawnee Tribe Little Axe Health Center (15951 Little Axe Dr., Norman)

Accepted Items: Expired/unwanted pills, powders, patches. Medical waste (needles, syringes, etc.) ONLY if secured in a container.

Not Accepted: Radioactive medicines, liquids, creams, inhalers, and unsecured medical waste.
